Je Ne Sais Quoi
Charcoal on toned heavyweight paper

This charcoal sketch was created during my time in France after noticing a woman at the local market whose presence felt effortlessly cinematic. The vintage 90’s Guess sunglasses, stunning profile, and quiet confidence immediately drew me in. There was something timeless bout her. A kind of understated glamour that felt both nostalgic and modern at once.
Drawn quickly and intuitively on toned paper, this piece focuses on mood, silhouette, and presence rather than perfect detail. It was a passing glimpse of someone I never wanted to forget.
